A Rose for You: Today I picked a rose for you/because your kind is rare./I put it in a lovely vase/to show how much I care./ I added sprigs of Baby's Breath/They're fragile, but unique./Then placed a lot of greenery in/to make my gift complete./I wanted to thank you formally/For being, oh, so dear/And so I chose this rose to give/While both of us are here./You've stood by me; you've had my back/You've done it with a smile./You've held my hand; you've shorn me up/You've gone the extra mile./ One rose is not a huge,huge gift./It does not come with parts./ But it's the gift I brought today/Plucked straight from my heart.
Sun Rise: Each sunrise provides us/an opportunity for change,/renewal, and resurrection; Thank you, Lord/for today's sunrise and the chance to make/better choices/for my life./Today, I vow to/do a better job,/be a better friend,/and seek a better way.
